Oops!

I am such a dork!! Yeah, I am calling myself that and it is so true. Have you ever had that horrible dream that you forget to pick up one of your kids from school or you get the time wrong?! Well my horrible dream came true. I was sitting on the couch reading a book to Megan and I got that phone call. "Braden is here waiting to be picked up" Hu? Is he okay? Did he get into trouble? Hu? "School is out." School doesn't get out for another hour? "Nope, it is an early out day" On my way. Sorry, sorry, sorry. So I rushed to get all the girls in the car. (Not such an easy task.) Once I got there, Braden, "What took you so long?" How do you tell your child that you forgot them at school? I was so embarrassed. I felt so bad for the poor Kindergarten teacher-in-training that had to wait. She was so nice about it though. Yep, I had a dorky moment that will definitely not get me the mother of the year award.
